Red Team Operator

Job Description:

Remote operations dynamically emulating cyber threats conducted in simulated environments for the purposes of training and maintaining battle readiness of DoD teams.

Principal Responsibilities:

  •   Plan, develop, and execute mission operations for exercises.

  • Assess, train, and monitor DoD mission teams and dynamically react using appropriate techniques, tactics, and procedures to achieve training and mission objectives.

  • Consult with the customer to overcome requirement, logistical, planning, and technical challenges.

  • Represent the Cyber Adversary Tactics Office during consultation with partner entities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain leading tools and capabilities to better prepare DoD mission teams.

  • Utilize exploitation tools and frameworks to successfully carry out mission and ensure battle readiness.

  • Vary techniques, tactics, and procedures to increase or decrease fidelity of the environment and emulated threat.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with POLY.

  • Willingness to work in the DC-Baltimore geographic area.

  • Understanding of offensive operations methodologies, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

  • Able to apply knowledge of network protocols, network devices, and Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good interpersonal, organizational, communications and briefing skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Debian Linux.

  • Ability to footprint, scan, enumerate, exploit vulnerable services and applications, harden, and pivot.

  • Skills in developing, managing, and implementing Command and Control infrastructure.
