Technical Sales Engineer

 

Job Description

The Escalate Team is expanding and adding a Technical Sales Engineer to our expanding P3 family. As a member of the Escalate™ team, you will take Point3 Security services and products into new markets. As Point3 continues its growth and expansion, we want to add team members who have sold into these markets and have relationships with customers in government and hackerspaces. Escalate™ introduces hands-on-keyboard challenges which mentor, train, and teach members master tradecraft to malware reverse engineering, network security, disk and memory forensics, vulnerability research, offensive and defensive operations, and operational software development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Articulate the technical value of Point 3's cyber offerings.

  • Collaborate with our other BD team mates on what their comprehensive cyber solutions-based sales mantras are and how is it that they show their deep understanding of our client's short and long-term requirements.

  • Work in a team with the Client Partners to understand the client's requirements, customize presentations for client meetings, prepare and give extensive product demonstrations and workshops.

  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in crafting solutions and designing proof-of-concept implementations.

  • Lead competitive and feature comparison discussion with Prospects, Customers, and Sales Partners.

  • Assist customers in formulating strategies and vision, as well as the role P3 plays as a strategic partner.

  • Conduct research and use knowledge of competitor solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections.

  • Ensure P3’s cyber security solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer goals and provide an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • BSCS/BSIS or equivalent.

  • 5+ year's industry experience in sales and business development in a technical landscape and or setting.

  • Technical background in security technologies. I.e. Network Security, Vulnerabilities, Reverse Engineering, Web Exploitation, Implant Development, Offensive/Defensive Hunting, Malware Repurposing, Forensics, etc. 

Desired Skills

  • Technical certs or licenses.

  • Prior experience in selling cyber related solutions within the private sector and or government space.
